A clean, capable desk setup for ₹10,000 is possible if you know where to spend and where to skip.
Spend: the chair
About half the budget. A mid-tier mesh chair with proper lumbar and armrests will outlast three cheap ones.
Spend: task light
A dimmable warm-white task lamp changes the desk from 'workstation' to 'place you want to sit.'
Save: monitor stand
A stack of books or a ₹500 wooden riser is genuinely fine. Aluminium stands are a want, not a need.
Save: keyboard and mouse
A quiet membrane keyboard and a reliable optical mouse from a mainstream brand cover 95% of use. Mechanical keyboards are a hobby, not a requirement.
