The Small-Space Home Gym

Everything you need to train hard under 20 sq ft.

You can build a full-body training setup in under 20 square feet. The trick is choosing tools that scale, not tools that stack.

One adjustable dumbbell pair

A single pair covering 5–50 lbs replaces an entire rack. Dial-adjust models are quieter and faster than plate-loaded.

A pull-up bar

Doorway bars are fine if your frame can take the load. Wall-mounted is sturdier if you can drill. Pull-ups, hanging leg raises, and rows all live here.

A flat bench

Skip the ten-position bench if space is tight. A solid flat bench handles press, row, and split squat variations.

Resistance bands for accessories

Loop bands for glute work, tube bands with a handle for face pulls and external rotation. Cheap, quiet, and stackable in a drawer.

A yoga mat and a jump rope

Warm-up, cool-down, and conditioning covered. That's the entire kit.

Programming beats equipment. Show up three days a week with this and results follow.
